How rare are the first press US Bleach cassettes?
#1
After looking at the have/want proportions I'm really curious if there are any numbers or estimates for the three cassette types?
Ist it because the entry is pretty new or is the clear shell really the rarest? cf. https://www.discogs.com/release/26552378-Nirvana-Bleach
The white one seems to be pretty rare as compared to the two black variations.

Black#1: https://www.discogs.com/release/1074543-Nirvana-Bleach
Black#2: https://www.discogs.com/release/12284527-Nirvana-Bleach

(I'm obviously not talking of the real 1st press, the defective cassette here.)

Any thoughts on this?

A nightmare for completists!!

I have always seen the white as the rarest!
I remember when Wouter got his and for how long he was looking to own a copy.

I always thought that the clear was a bit odd. Kind of detached from the rest.

I have long ago decided just to have the black variation (saving the extra bucks for other things).

I remember the defect tape selling for a few bucks…

Thanks for your input. I thought the same so far but then the mysterious clear non-remastered cassettes appeared ;-)
Especially because it can also come with the inlay used for the later remastered cassettes, which is strange, too.

My white shell was cheap and easy to get as fas as I remember, but that was 15 or 20 years ago so I was just lucky or something. I always put off the black shell and thus, I still don't have it. So, if anyone wants to get rid of one, I'm here ;-)
