i saw 1 up on ebay saturday and realized that it was a target release
so then i checked their website and saw that they had 3 at the store near me
i raced down there to scoop them up
funny thing they had 1 of the “sold out” silver nevermind...picked that up too as an extra extra( seeing how i have a few of those already )
i hope target releases all of their albums on limited edition colored vinyl
I'd like that too, but I'm doubtful. In reality, it will probably just be these two.
The Nevermind is a Pallas pressing and a reissue of this one (2013):

The Unplugged is also a Pallas pressing and a reissue of this one (also 2013):

These two albums were the only ones that saw a re-release pressing by Pallas after the 2010/2011 ORG pressings and the two Target exclusives now have been reissues of those on colored vinyl.
It would be great to get a new Incesticide pressing for listening purposes on one vinyl. I prefer one vinyl at 33 RPM. The recent reissues of Incesticide on 2LP at 45 RPM kind of annoy me. Actually, the recent trend to reissue albums on multiple LPs at 45 RPM annoys me. It means I have to get up and flip or change a record more often. I guess this wouldn't bother collectors who don't actually spin records or can actually hear the difference between a 33RPM and 45RPM cut, but I play the recent reissues and my ears cannot pick up on a noticeable or meaningful difference with a 45RPM.
I would also love for Pallas to press a new copy of In Utero. The Nevermind and Unplugged pressings sound fantastic. I was listening to this new Unplugged yesterday and it is extremely quiet. Absolutely no surface noise, no cracks, static, pops, skips, etc. One of the best sounding records, IMO. All of the recent In Utero re-pressings seem to just be the "320" version over and over again.
