Nevermind Simply Vinyl 1997

Sounds right to me, apart from the missing lithium edition. I could see a mistake with the pressing... but with the sleeve as well? The sleeve would provided by Geffen, or am i mistaken? Sounds fishy to me.

Yeah, as stated previously, it doesn’t seem like a mistake but rather intentional. The big question is why they would have done this. And why they would have then added it back and released a new version. William has confirmed his TP does not have Lithium and the matrices match. Let’s see if andypandy’s version is the same way.

The sleeve artwork would have been provided by Geffen/DGC, though probably for SV to fill in their copyright info and stuff - so it would have been possible for them to edit this.

It is beyond strange. The confirmation of a corrected EMI pressing (SVLP 0038 A2-1- or whatever the matrix was) does indicate that it was a mistake to omit it, but such a fundamental mistake that somebody thought it actually wasn't supposed to be there, so they removed the credit on the sleeve and label. At some point somebody must have said "dude, what the fuck, it's missing a track!" and made the corrected pressing.

Haven't hauled out my test to check yet, but I'm sure it's like William's test.

Just a bunch of people making up their minds without doing any research/ asking any questions for more details. I see this so often about many things on the Internet

"Hmm this is slightly different to what mine is/ what I expected it to be like. It MUST be fake, there is no need for more information."

Yeah. Brazilian version of Bleach has green lettering. Must be 100% boot. Korean Nevermind has a different back cover and Polly is on Side B. 100% boot.

Just ramblings from the uninformed.

This post says that Endless Nameless is on the pressing without Lithium.

William, is it on your TP?

Miguelmarques,
So the change of pressing plant isn't reflected in the change of sticker color? That happened later, I guess.
I hate this kind of shit... Smile

Maybe the silver EMI pressing sticker and silver Dutch pressing sticker are slightly different? These releases aren't shown on sliver.it, so unless someone starts documenting these with scans nobody can make any conclusions. Smile
