The seller also had a Pearl Jam “Ten” - simular design (though it was green instead of the usual purple background).
I have asked for the matrix number... he never replied.

Now, of course, there ARE legit promo discs in this world, old and new, which are made very simply in an office. But I'm pretty sure this guy is full of shit. Smile

Looking through his auctions, he's also selling records where he has put his own homemade adhesive "promo"-labels over the original labels to make records more desirable. It's an old Mexican trick, maybe it is Artureco. You can see the Nirvana "test pressings" he made here - http://www.crimson-ceremony.net/pr3/page.php?id=tp-unofficial - in the first section.
