Well, it seems to be to good to be true (no?).
The record is original, but the sleeve... I have serious doubts.
First, the quality of the print and the design seems a bit unbalanced (but we all know how Central and South American editions are).
Secondly, don’t you think a bit strange, among others, that Kim Wilder “kids in America”, sold by the same seller and, apparently, released in 1982, has a very similar layout to SLTS released almost 10 years!! later??
And both, among others, in EX condition, though the paper seems of low quality. No marks, edges almost intact, no creases... at least next time the seller could bury them for a couple of weeks (techniques used by African sellers while trying to sell, supposedly, ancient African masks).

I might be wrong, though I believe to be in the wrong job, as it seems more profitable to create high end obscure editions and sell them on eBay!

I really disagree with you.
Sellers on eBay are (or should be) familiar with the positive and negative sides of the game.
I do not have a white Sliver and probably I will never have one as the prices are silly!!
For me 500 is already too much, not even mentioning 1000.
If it is ok for him/her to sell it for 500, it is up to him /her to decide.
Informing them that the price should be higher it will only cause am issue with the buyer.
On my perspective, a deal is between a seller and a buyer and no one else’s.
Several years ago I was about to sell something in this forum and someone decided to intervene and the deal was off. I lost good money. Business is Business or are you also disputing the price of an iPhone 11?

He didn’t just sell it to the first offer of $500. I saw that item within minutes of it being listed. I sent the seller a question asking if there was a buy it now price he would consider but I didn’t offer up a price. I didn’t hear back from him until the next day when he said he was getting offers from multiple people and it was up to $400 and that I was welcome to offer something higher. I didn’t respond and I saw it sold for $500 the next day.

A crazy price for a counterfeit:

Is this Courtney trying to make a few extra bucks? I never seen this brand, though I do not pay much attention to memorabilia:
