Hey guys,

Thought I might bump this thread with a small introduction, and tip of my hat to Pedro for the pointer here!
My name is Thomas and I come from (southern) Sweden. I consider myself a O.G Nirvana fan being part
of class 1979, and ever since Nirvana changed my whole perspetive on what music could actually be and mean
hearing them for the first time ca 1990 as a ca 12 year old kid. Never really looked back since, and Nirvana is
obviously by far closest to my, now grumpy-old-man-grunge-heart. From back then, and still to this day, hardly
a day goes by without playing Nirvana, my old 90´s live bootleg CD´s etc.
Nirvana no doubt shaped me as a person in a profound way, and as such their music is right up there among the
most important elements of my life.

BUT, I totally get that there´s really no need to preach to the choir around these neck of the woods, and that im
in the company of a lot of peers who totally get where im coming from and feel the same similar way! Smile

Having, regretfully, NOT been collecting since being a teen in 90´s, nowdays I have the urge and keen interest
to at least buying/collecting SOME physical Nirvana format in my "old" days. So I decided to start with cassettes
as my main focus. Mostly bootleg cassettes but also a few high end original tapes here and there.

I have a WAY bigger Nirvana-heart than a disposable-Nirvana-money-wallet, so as for now im focusing on a format
that my fincances actually allow me to hunt down buy *haha* But more so, I like the hunt and cassettes brings me
fucking joy and puts a smile on my face! (Btw, if you have any surplus cassettes/bootleg cassettes = reach out! Smile )

Anyways, enough rambling!

Im happy to be here, and to stand on the shoulders of giants! Been blowing my mind just running through some of
you guys JAWDROPPING collections! Im in AWE.

Take it easy and all the best from Sweden!

//Thomas.

PS. If anyone of you have an original 1992 "Sjöhistoriska" concert poster to sell at a fair price = please contact me!
As of now = my top want, and my original 1994 Annexet poster desperatly needs some company on my wall.

Welcome Tomas!!

The forum past its glorious peak, but a few of us are still fighting for it!
Previously, collectors relied on this and on other forums to understand what was out there, but now simpler platforms provide that. On the other hand, many of us (old folks) have been collecting for decades, so we have almost everything from our wanted lists.

Lawrence is your memorabilia guy! As I mentioned to you, he has an absurd knowledge on posters, flyers and tickets!

Welcome :-)

Are you the Thomas from Sweden who writes me every now and then on Discogs?

Ah, and since you're collecting tapes, you should see Damiens collection. It's insane but I don't know if he's on here or ever shared something about his collection.

As much fun that I had/still have digging around in here, I do seem to be a bit late to the party, right? Topics dont seem to move all that much, and I do get @Sickboys "crowd" remark now ?

Anyways, for me = this place is a real goldmine to explore, and I really appreciate all/any replys and PM's that I have got! ??
