no, if I recall correctly, it was from a press release(?);
Maybe it wasn't a press release, but rather a DGC document in advance to pressing any music, or sending anything out.
This document showed how many copies of what were going to be pressed, and where they were supposed to be sent to.

About 1/3 of the way into the Nevermind 20th Super Deluxe CD book, is a reproduction of a page with a header of "NIRVANA MARKETING SUMMARY" - the bottom of the page shows that this was from July 31 1991.
Under the first "radio" section it shows "(150 to Mark Kates; 100 mgmt)"
Under the "sales" section it shows a count of 200
I apologize for recalling (and typing) 400, when I actually should have written 450.
